Seeing
God establish a youth ministry that averages 130 kids every week, shows us
that the potential for working with youth here is big. However, we also
see the need for a bigger more versatile space. This needs to be a place
for kids to hang out, have fun, and receive the Word of God. We have
embarked on a project to build a 60’ x 100’ multi-purpose steel
building on the Maritime Ministries site. We are currently about 75%
finished with the slab which, when completed, will serve as an outdoor
basketball court and rec. area until we can buy the building. The project
will cost approximately $100,000. The building comes as a kit, and the
quote on the building was $68,000. At this point we have no idea where the
money will come from, but we know a great big God! We need your prayers on
this one.
