Building Project Needs a Miracle

did it! When we last reported on the status of the staff housing project
we were waiting to see what He was going to do next. Up to this past
Spring we had been on a dizzying ride with God on this project, but we had
come to a “dramatic pause” in His activity. We sensed that God
definitely wanted to do something to finish the building over the summer
so that Reuben and Debra, their two girls, and Rick and Sandy could move
in before the end of 2005. When we looked at what it would cost to do
this, we came to the staggering figure of $35,000! How could we believe
God for that much money on such short notice? He did it in His grand
style. We felt led to put together a small fundraiser among some of the
folks who had been to Long Island. It came together in a flurry of
activity in three weeks. It was simply an evening of worshiping God and
asking Him to help. Fifty people were present. After the meeting we
counted the donations and they equaled $34,450! We have received more
donations since, and the building is now nearly finished! Great job God!
