Roy Armstrong on the Boat Again
Roy
has begun using the sailing vessel “Praise the Lord” for ministry in
local waters again. He had the sailboat at Gloucester Point over the
summer.
A young man from VCU named Anthony Acevedo has begun to
train with Roy on the boat. He is in the same major at the same school, at
the same time as Reuben was when he began to train with Roy. Roy and crew
had a shakedown cruise to try to flush out any problems with the newly
renovated PTL. Amazingly, there have been no problems! Roy says he is
thrilled with the new layout and performance. Oak Grove Baptist leadership
came aboard for a weekend meeting/cruise. It went very well. Pastor Andy
Rist and Roy teamed up to provide teaching, and the boat provided a unique
setting for inspiration and object lessons.
